Exhibition Updates: Spring / Summer 2022

The Spring/Summer season of art shows is almost here! After weeks of being worked on in the cold dark days of early spring, some lucky paintings are heading out for display in art-loving venues on glorious summer days!
This season, I have been fortunate enough to have my work juried into 3 fantastic shows. Truly grateful and super thrilled about being selected!
In order of earliest start dates, they are:
Edmonds Arts Festival 2022
Dates: June 17-19, 2022
Location: Edmonds Arts Festival, Edmonds, WA
Three of my miniature acrylic landscapes have been juried into the upcoming 65th Annual Edmonds Arts Festival. The pieces will be displayed in the Gallery Arts section, under the Miniatures and Small Paintings Category. The paintings are all based on soothing scenes from past trips around Washington state.
Schack Art Center: "Art of the Garden" Exhibit
Dates: June 23rd to Aug 27th 2022
Location: Schack Art Center, Everett, WA
Four of my black and white acrylic drawings on canvas have been juried into the upcoming "Art of the Garden" exhibit at the Schack Art Center. Garden and botanical themes are my absolute favorites and these four pieces focus on form over color and explores tropical vegetation and beautiful repetitive patterns in sharp black and white (with one spot of surprise color).
Parklane Gallery: 30th Annual International Miniature Show
Dates: July 7-31, 2022
Location: Parklane Gallery, 130 Park Ln, Kirkland, WA
Four of my miniature acrylic landscape paintings have been juried into the Parklane Gallery's 30th Annual International Miniature Show. This juried exhibition will be held both at the gallery location in downtown Kirkland and online. The paintings are based on scenes from around Washington state, and one is set in Hawaii!
I'm really looking forward to seeing all these shows in person, and enjoying all the wonderful artwork sure to be on display! But first - I need to frame the miniatures in nice wooden frames that will make them look like beautiful little views seen through a wooden window.
Take a closer look at individual pieces and see full details including titles, dimensions and prices on the Exhibits page.
