Shorelake Arts Gallery: Holiday 2022

Four of my miniatures paintings are part of a holiday special collection at Shorelake Arts Gallery this winter. The pieces can be viewed and purchased at the gallery located inside the Town Center at Lake Forest Park.

 

Parklane Gallery: 2022 Winter Show of Small Works and Miniatures

Dates: Nov 9th to Dec 31st 2022

Location: Parklane Gallery, 130 Park Ln, Kirkland, WA

I am thrilled that three of my paintings were selected for display in Parklane Gallery's Winter Show of Small Works and Miniatures. I will have two paintings in the Miniatures category and one under Small Works. This juried exhibition will be held at the gallery location in downtown Kirkland and can also be viewed on their website.

 

MLT Arts Commission: 42nd Annual Arts of the Terrace

Dates: Sep 24th - Oct 1st, 2022

Location: Mountlake Terrace Library, Mountlake Terrace, WA

Three of my miniature acrylic landscape paintings were juried into the 42nd Annual Arts of the Terrace show by the MLT Arts Commission. This exhibition will be held both at the Mountlake Terrace Library in Mountlake Terrace, WA. 

These acrylic landscapes were painted on 5" x 5" gessobord panels, placed in wooden frames that measure just under 7" x 7". 

 

Schack Art Center: "Art of the Garden" Exhibit

Dates: June 23rd to Aug 27th 2022

Location: Schack Art Center, Everett, WA

Four of my black and white acrylic drawings on canvas have been juried into the upcoming "Art of the Garden" exhibit at the Schack Art Center. The four pieces focus on form over color and explores tropical vegetation and beautiful repetitive patterns in sharp black and white (with one spot of surprise color).


City Gallery: "Tropical Garden Night", Solo Show

Dates: June - July 2022

Location: City Gallery at City Hall, Kenmore, WA

This solo art show was a two month long exhibit recreating elements of a tropical garden on a calm night. "Tropical Garden Night" showcased medium sized works on canvas, in rich blues and greens, crisp black and white, generous splashes of gold.... and a peaceful night sky with watchful stars. The show was part of the ongoing "Unexpected Neighbors" series of rotating exhibits at the City Gallery in Kenmore.

Parklane Gallery: 30th Annual International Miniature Show

Dates: July 7-31, 2022

Location: Parklane Gallery, 130 Park Ln, Kirkland, WA

Four of my miniature acrylic landscape paintings were juried into the Parklane Gallery's 30th Annual International Miniature Show. This juried exhibition was held both at the gallery location in downtown Kirkland and online. The paintings are based on scenes from around Washington state, and one is set in Hawaii.

These acrylic landscapes were painted on 5" x 5" gessobord panels, placed in wooden frames that measure just under 7" x 7".

  

Edmonds Arts Festival 2022

Dates: June 17-19, 2022

Location: Edmonds Arts Festival, Edmonds, WA

Three of my miniature acrylic landscapes have been juried into the upcoming 65th Annual Edmonds Arts Festival. The pieces will be displayed in the Gallery Arts section, under the Miniatures and Small Paintings Category. The paintings are all based on soothing scenes from past trips around Washington state.

These acrylic landscapes were painted on 5" x 5" gessobord panels, placed in wooden frames that measure just under 7" x 7".

 

Parklane Gallery: Winter Show of Small Works

Location: Parklane Gallery, 130 Park Ln, Kirkland, WA

I am thrilled that two of my paintings were selected for display in Parklane Gallery's Winter Show of Small Works, and both pieces sold during the show. This juried exhibition was held at the gallery location in downtown Kirkland and could also be viewed on their website.

The paintings feature stylized leaf artwork in metallic gold ink, set against a deep blue watercolor background with hints of green. The series is inspired by the natural vegetation of the tropics and set against the deep hues of the Pacific Northwest.
